REUNION 2008 A SUCCESS

Reunion USA, 2008 was without any doubt a smashing and rewarding success. The growth and development of the Re-Union is as visible as the stars at night. It all began with the arrival of participants on Friday, August 22, 2009 when the doors of the home of Bro. And Sis Brucein and Priscilla Myers were opened to a welcomed program with remarks of welcome made by Bro William Gean, Chairman of the Charlotte, NC Committee.  The expression of joy, love and the spirit of oneness lightened this occasion. It was great to once again meet and greet each other’s. The Welcome program climaxed with some delicious dishes served.

Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 9:00 A.M. all participants gathered for the integral of the reunion at the business session hosted by our own Rev. Shanka E. Morris, Sr. Pastor of the Spencer United Methodist Church. Bro made remarks. Zackery T. Major, Chairman, Rev. Shanka E. Morris, Sr and Rev. Erlene Perry Thompson, Senior Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Monrovia. Highlights at the Business Section included formal business, discussions and the payment of dues among other things. The evening section was the major fund raising program for the 2008 Re-Union. The charlotte Committee hosted a well-prepared dinner. The occasion was graced with the presence of Mr. Stephen J. Crayton, Members of the Spencer United Methodist Church, Participants at the Re-union and the community.
